Welcome to the LAGAI Institute (Luso Anglo German African Institute) Admissions Portal. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, located at admissions.laga-institute.org, and your application, enrollment, and payment processes with us.

By accessing this website, submitting an application, or making a payment, you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website or services.

1. Admissions and Enrollment

Submission of an application through our portal does not guarantee admission. All applications are subject to evaluation by the LAGAI Institute academic board. Applicants must provide accurate, complete, and truthful academic and personal information. Any misrepresentation will result in immediate disqualification or dismissal from the program without refund.

2. Payments and Fees

  • Currency: All payments, tuition fees, and application charges are processed in Cape Verdean Escudo (CVE) or equivalent converted currencies.
  • Payment Methods: We securely accept debit and credit card payments via the SISP Vinti4 payment gateway, supporting national Vinti4 cards, Visa, and Mastercard.
  • Payment Failures: LAGAI Institute is not liable for payment failures caused by bank declines, incorrect card information, or network connectivity issues during the 3D Secure challenge.

3. Intellectual Property

All materials, designs, course contents, texts, graphics, and source codes displayed on this platform are the intellectual property of LAGAI Institute or its licensors. You are granted a limited license only for personal, non-commercial purposes related to your academic application and studies.

4. User Responsibilities

As an applicant or student, you agree not to use this platform to:

  • Submit fraudulent application details or payment coordinates.
  • Infect the system with malicious software, trojans, or security exploits.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to the portal administration, user databases, or SISP gateway endpoints.

5. Limitation of Liability

LAGAI Institute and its software partners will not be held liable for any damages (including financial losses, technical disruptions, or administrative delays) arising out of your use, or inability to use, this admissions platform.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cape Verde. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Praia, Cape Verde.
